  1. Churchland claims that our common understanding of folk psychology is wrong and one day will all be replaced by neuroscience. I think the terms we use to describe or think about ourselves do represent the reality of our minds/selves..and isnt wrong.. Folk psychology has helped us understand our mind and self, but i think that neuroscience will have a big impact as well. We will benefit with having a more accurate reflection.

  2. I would agree with his Materialistic view to a certain extent, but what about the things that cannot be explained or accurately described, such as "supernatural occurrences". As for the idea of Eliminative Materialism I would agree, but question that in learning the vocabulary, will we then be subject to trying to pair it to things, rather than automatically be able to describe said "things" with this newly developed vocabulary.
