  1. I disagree with John Locke's view on personal identity because he explains how our body and personality doesn't make us who we are. I believe that our personality makes people see who we really are through our actions and what we put forward. Our personality is our identity. People don't identify us through our conscious but rather by what our personality is and how we act towards them.

  2. I agree with John Locke that your self is defined by your experiences. Who you are can be defined by the choices and decisions you've made. The self can't be fixated in one state and not ever change. The person you are today is not the same as the person you were five minutes ago or five years ago.

  3. locke believes that knowledge is gained through personal experience. despite the changes that your body's physical appearance goes though, your personal identity has remained the same. he believes that personal identity and the soul are two very different things; changing and unchanging.

  4. I agree with Locke's view on personal identity. He considers personal identity as consciousness, not a soul. As human beings we must be aware of the existence. He considers person as intelligent thinking being, being the same in different places and different times. According to him soul may have many personalities.

  5. I really like Kenny's answer , i agree that the person you are today isnt the same as the person you were 5 min ago/5 years ago.. the choices we make can be defined to who we are.. because every decision weve made has had an outcome and a effect to where we are today as well. i give kenny's Blog a B.

  7. I agree with Kenny because I feel the same way about a person not being the same they were 5 mins or 5 years ago. We are going through change and we are learning and experiencing with every step we take. Our own personal and unique experience makes us individuals different. This also makes us see certain situations from different point of view.

  9. Caroline A.I agree with Kenny that according to Locke self is defined by experiences and a person is changing, and even though "every 5 mins" was most likely a figure of speech, I cant see a person changing constantly in that type of way because a person who changes all the time cant even define themselves. Id give his blog a B.

  10. Kenny is completely right. Each decision, and experience we go through shapes us as a person. Said person aka 'self' evolves, and adapts over time. With that being said we are not static beings, who remain the same no matter what. We would not be human otherwise.
    I give him an A
